Medic Rules
Medic Duties (Code of Conduct)
Strict Rules and Severe Prohibitions
1. Do not use agency vehicles for personal errands such as going to the rebel zone or farming. You may enter the rebel zone only if there is an active case. For any personal errands, such as storing items in the rebel stash, farming, or visiting relatives/family, you must clock out of your shift first.
2. All agency positions are strictly prohibited from forwarding agency information to outside parties under any circumstances, except for other agencies (only necessary information).
3. If a medic engages in actions or speech that are challenging, inciting, disruptive, or provocative, report the medic in the server's Discord or open a Ticket to report them to the staff team.
4. Upon joining the agency, you must serve for at least 30 days. Resigning before this period will result in a fine and a character reset. Failing to enter the server to perform duties without a leave notice for 3 consecutive days will result in a character reset and Whitelist removal.
Operational Regulations and Shifts
5. Medics must wear the medic uniform throughout their shift, except on freedays (Saturday, Sunday) or medic holidays. However, even on holidays, medics must wear medic equipment that identifies them as medics, such as gloves, stethoscopes, hats, etc.
6. Medics must always use agency vehicles while on duty. The use of personal vehicles is strictly prohibited.
7. While on duty, medics must remain stationed in front of the hospital. Family members or relatives can visit them at the hospital, but medics cannot leave to meet family or relatives elsewhere.
8. When clocking in, medics must always enter the radio channel.
9. Clocking in and out will be automatically announced in the server's Discord. If your name does not appear, please contact the staff.
10. Medics must be on duty for at least 3 hours per day.
11. Zoning out, stepping away from the screen, or AFK must always be announced on the radio and cannot exceed 15 minutes. If you have OOC matters taking longer than 15 minutes, you must clock out.
12. If medics intend to close the hospital to clock out, or before a server restart, they must clock out first.
13. If a medic refuses to clock out, and then leaves the city and returns to find a time glitch or missing duty welfare, no compensation will be provided under any circumstances (except for game crashes).
Leave and Vacations
14. If you wish to take a leave, announce it in the leave notice room in the server's Discord (You may take up to 3 days off per week). If you need consecutive days off, you must inform the Hospital Director.
15. A vacation or Long off is a 2-week leave (1 billing cycle) during which you must not be seen in the city. You may take this leave but must always announce it in Discord.
16. Taking a vacation or Long off for 2 consecutive billing cycles will result in a warning, unless necessary, in which case you must inform the Hospital Director and receive permission for a Long off or vacation exceeding 2 cycles.
17. You will not receive a salary or bonus during a vacation or Long off when the billing cycle ends.
Promoting Corporate Image
18. All medic positions are responsible for taking care of the agency together and the hospital can organize activities or promotions to sell goods (anti-stress pills) to build a good image for citizens and the general public.
Handling Cases
Strict Rules in the Area
19. Citizens who press a case in the Dropbox will be fined $20,000 per person.
20. Regarding entering the medic contact room in the server's Discord, if you have not been called, do not enter.
Situation Assessment and Duty Performance
21. Always turn on the siren when going out to receive a case or entering an area.
22. Medics will stop receiving cases 15 minutes before a server restart. If there is a story during the time medics stop receiving cases, medics will resume receiving cases after the server has successfully restarted. (For stories 15 minutes before restart, medics will not announce cooldowns or count any fights).
23. In the event of a story, medics will only go in to pick up unconscious individuals after the situation has calmed down. If the incident drags on longer than it should, medics can call the police to the area to suppress the incident.
24. If medics attempt to pick up an unconscious individual during a story, but the opposing party refuses to allow them to be taken for treatment, medics can call the police to the area.
25. When handling a case, if there are 5 or fewer unconscious individuals in the area (non-story cases), medics can revive them one by one. If there are many cases, mass reviving is allowed at the medic's discretion.
26. When handling a case, if there are several unconscious individuals in the area or if they are dressed in distinct group outfits, such as Gang vs Gang, Family vs Family, etc., medics must assess whether a story has been initiated. If it is a story, they must be brought back to the hospital for treatment.
Rules for Patients and Opposing Parties
27. If the unconscious individual is a police officer (city police) on duty, the medic can treat and inject them on the spot. If the unconscious individual is a Special Agent on duty, they must be brought back to the Hospital or Police Station for treatment and cannot be injected.
- If a city police officer faints along with a suspect and no one else is left, and they call for a medic case, the medic can revive both parties (the police must drop the case).
28. If the unconscious individual is a suspect in a police case, the medic can treat them at the scene without having to carry them back to the hospital.
29. Citizens, Guilds, or Families involved in a story cannot receive injection services from medics. If they are not in a story, they can receive injections in front of the hospital as usual.
30. If someone wants to hitch a ride back with a medic, they must be a citizen or guild without a story, and the requested route must be on the way or ending at the hospital. Medics cannot make random stops at the citizen's request. If there are many cases at the time, it is at the medic's discretion whether to accept them.
Handling Cases in the Red Zone
31. In the red zone, medics cannot issue a Blacklist under any circumstances.
32. If the unconscious individual is not involved in a story or if it is assessed that there is no active story, they must be brought back to the Police Station in all cases (it could be a robbery case, thus they must be brought back to the Police Station).
33. If the unconscious individual is involved in a story or if it is assessed that a story has been initiated, they must be brought back to the hospital only.
Code of Conduct During a Story
Strict Rules and Severe Prohibitions
34. When a medic enters the area and begins treatment, those in the area cannot rev their engines, bluff the unconscious, or move the unconscious. If a medic sees or hears this, the penalty will be a blacklist as it is considered disrupting the medic's work.
35. After all individuals have been treated (including everyone lying on the beds), guilds or citizens involved in the story are prohibited from gathering in front of the hospital. For the first offense, a warning will be given. If ignored after a warning, the entire guild, family, or group involved in the story will be blacklisted.
36. If a warning or announcement is issued by a medic and no contact is made within 15 minutes, the medic will issue a Blacklist based on the offense immediately.
Operational Rules in Story Areas
37. Medics must wait for the situation to calm down before stepping out of the vehicle.
38. Always turn on the siren when entering the area.
39. Medics can revive the winning guild of that fight at the scene. The losing side must be carried back to the hospital for treatment.
40. Medics are prohibited from injecting guilds involved in a story. If healing is needed, after treatment, they must sleep in the hospital beds only.
41. Medics do not transport individuals or guilds involved in a story.
Performing Duties in Curfew Circles
42. Medics cannot participate in any story except the kidnapping story or requesting reinforcements from the police.
43. Medics must sit and wait in the vehicle (Siren Off).
44. Medics must wait for the police to clear the area (30 seconds counted by the police) before entering.
45. Medics can enter without an announcement from the medic agency.
46. Only after the police have successfully cleared the area can the siren be turned on to enter the area (This counts as the medic entering the area).
Disciplinary Penalties for Medics
When a medic commits an offense, either from a complaint or admitting guilt, or yielding to other evidence, they will receive the following penalties:
- Disciplinary Level 1: Fine $50,000
- Disciplinary Level 2: Fine $100,000
- Disciplinary Level 3: Demotion
