Aiding Suspects
- Aiding escape cases require Police 10, Medic 0 to be able to help suspects escape, including ramming police vehicles to assist
Additional Notes
If a perpetrator is spotted, police should immediately report to Admin with:
- Description of the perpetrator
- Or attach a clip/dashcam image as evidence for review
Penalty: Fine of 200K per person
[ All Staff Admin decisions are final ]
- If someone helps a friend by both ramming the police car and picking up the friend as the same person, and they are caught, they will be charged with obstruction of duty
Suspect Pursuit
- For each case pursuit, officers can use the following department resources:
- No more than 3 vehicles
- No more than 6 police officers
- Each vehicle can have no more than 3 officers
( Aiding cases are exempt from these conditions )
- If officers arrive at the scene and find suspects committing illegal acts such as stealing cement, wire, or selling drugs — allow them time to get in their vehicle and start moving before shooting
- If police arrive and find suspects already doing illegal work, and within 2 car-lengths there is no vehicle, police can arrest immediately
- Once police shoot out all 4 tires (no need to wait for tires to grind completely), officers can immediately shoot people off vehicles or start ramming
- Parking to block or intercept must be at least 2 car-lengths away
- A fellow officer can follow/scout by car, but to help arrest, they must be 2 car-lengths away before getting out
- Police are prohibited from shooting runners from their vehicle (officers must drive ahead to cut off or get out and run to pursue before shooting)
- Police must use a taser on the suspect first 1 time before being able to spear and arrest
- Ramming civilian vehicles is strictly prohibited. In such cases, citizens may get a TAKE 2. However, over-control collisions are at the officer's discretion. If a collision occurs during a mountain chase, it's considered over-control immediately — unless the police intentionally rammed, then TAKE 2 is granted
- During pursuit, if the suspect calls friends to help ram, officers can ram back immediately Officers can ram both the helpers and the fleeing suspect. Police will stop shooting tires immediately (police can choose to shoot tires or ram)
- Police can use maximum measures to arrest: call unlimited police reinforcements, shoot people off vehicles, or ram
- Police can shoot helpers off their vehicles including the original suspect
- If police feel unsafe from a third party during pursuit (e.g., suspect's friend not ramming but following/blocking for collision), police can shoot tires to eliminate the risk
- If the suspect switches vehicles or has a friend pick them up, police can shoot the suspect on the vehicle immediately
- If a fleeing suspect clearly flips their own vehicle, they may be allowed to flip it back (at the officer's discretion)
- If the suspect flips their own car and requests to continue, police can pop 1 tire immediately. The suspect cannot request repairs
- If flipped and cannot be righted, the suspect can get out and Shift+E, but must surrender 1 tire to police. If they dodge the tire, police can report to staff immediately
- If the car is stuck and cannot move, police can use a shotgun to shoot the suspect off immediately
- 3-minute countdown after losing sight of the suspect means the case is cleared (but if found within these 3 minutes, pursuit and search can resume immediately) If the suspect's vehicle is found while still under case, police can pop 1 tire immediately and announce the vehicle is still under case
- If a suspect uses a vehicle to block pathways, police can walk up to arrest, drive or impound that vehicle, and proceed with the case
- For crimes committed in plain sight, police can arrest and proceed with the case immediately — at the officer's discretion whether to let them flee or not
- For water pursuit cases — when citizens flee into water, police can carry/arrest in water immediately
- If a suspect's vehicle flips, police pop 1 tire and let them continue fleeing — except for severe cases (e.g., friends coming to help block or intentionally ram, attacking police, assaulting agencies)
- In severe cases, if the suspect's car flips, police can pop all tires
- If a suspect flees into a label (safe zone) and attacks police, and police win, they can only arrest the original suspect who was pursued from outside. Others inside the label or who helped will not be charged
- Suspects doing illegal work who are chased by police must flee for at least 10 minutes before being able to flee or drag police into a label area
- Using emotes and bugs during illegal work or hiding from police is prohibited
- If a suspect dodges tires — police repair but suspect doesn't return full tires — police can ram and shoot off vehicle immediately without waiting for all 4 tires, with unlimited police and vehicles
- Suspects caught removing shirts during illegal work will be fined 50K by the Staff Admin team
- When a ban on illegal work is announced in the country, violators can be arrested immediately. If suspects get in their vehicle, police can chase, ram, shoot tires, or shoot people off vehicles without waiting for 4 tires, and charges will be x10 the original offense
- If a suspect sneaks out to repair their vehicle and police spot them, police can shoot and arrest immediately. Or if the suspect is seen getting into a vehicle (not yet on the vehicle), police can shoot immediately
- If the suspect is already on the vehicle and about to flee, it becomes a regular pursuit — police shoot tires until all 4 pop before ramming and arresting
- If a suspect drives blocking tires so police can't shoot for 20 seconds, police can nudge the vehicle to expose remaining tires (everyone must accept this in tire-blocking situations)
- Citizens must prepare their own repairs and fuel — cannot request repairs at the scene. If requested, it's at police discretion. If allowed, it can be exchanged for 1 tire
- If police encounter a suspicious vehicle and find illegal goods, police can seize immediately
